Philips X520 Supports AAA Battery Power

In the mobile phone biz, Philips may not be as main stream as say Nokia or Sony Ericsson or Samsung, but we’ll have to admit some of their handset’s in the Xenium range look pretty snappy and the latest – the Xenium X520 also adds a little more to the mix than just looks.

The constant battle with a mobile's battery life has now taken a new turn with Philips’ X520 in lead. Aside from the company stating that the handset is capable of providing up to 8 hours of talk time, this handset will also run on normal AAA pencil batteries! This is the perfect solution to the question – What do you do when you run out of power with no charging port available? Simple walk into a general store and pick up a set of AAA batteries.
The handset also features –
Bluetooth with A2DP
2 megapixel camera
FM radio with RDS
microSD card support
GPRS
There's no price associated with the handset yet.
